The Many Uses of Our Soy Candles

Our Soy Candles are a multi-purpose candle that can be used for many things,  such as:     

 

Massage Candle - When the candle melts it actually melts into a Soy Oil which can then be used for massages, the oil can be poured directly from the jar onto the person your are massaging.    

     

Moisturizer –  You can use the melted candle as a daily moisturizer, simply light the candle prior to your shower or bath and by the time you are ready you'll have enough to smooth over your body.    

     

Hair Defrizzer/Deep Conditioner -  To calm those fly aways, dip your finger into the oil and lightly run your fingers through your hair. As a deep conditioner, cover your hair completely, wrap in a towel overnight, and wash out in the morning with our Soy Milk 3 in 1.      

 

Burn as a Normal Candle - Scented soy candles distribute more flavour – The incorporation of soybean oil lowers the melting point of the candle, which translates into cooler burning candles and faster scent dispersion. The lower melting point of soy wax results in a larger size of the liquid wax pool around the candle wick. It is from this liquid wax pool that the essential oils evaporate into the atmosphere.    

Why Soy Wax?

 

CLEAN BURNING — Soy wax is non-toxic and burns cleaner than paraffin, with

no petrol-carbon soot which can blacken walls, ceilings, and furniture,

contaminate ventilation ductwork in your home, as well as add toxic

carcinogens into the air you breathe.

LONG BURNING – Soy candles burn slower and cooler than paraffin wax,

creating a longer burning candle. Our 5oz jars can burn as long as 40 hours and

our 10oz jar as long as 80+ hours

RENEWABLE RESOURCE — Soybeans are a renewable source, unlike paraffin,

which consists of petroleum.

BIODEGRADABLE — Since soybeans are vegetables, soy wax (basically made

from hydrogenated soybean oil) is naturally biodegradable. Soy wax is also

easier to remove from materials and other surfaces than paraffin wax.
